UBB takes up residence at CREPS Bordeaux

On November 16, the CREPS in Bordeaux was delighted to welcome UBB’s players and technical and medical staff. An unforgettable day for athletes from the 23 CREPS centers.

There are magical encounters for our sportsmen and women, and we’re sure that the one with the players from Union Bordeaux-Bègles was one of them.

On the agenda for UBB players and staff:

➡️ Breakfast and lunch at CREPS Bordeaux
➡️ Weight training and medical check-up
➡️ Group training and reathletization

For the Bordeaux CREPS, it was a time for exchanging information on sports, medical and dietary practices with the UBB teams.

Sportsmen and women from the CREPS Pôle Espoir de Rubgy were able to talk to the players (and even play table soccer for some of them) during a special moment. Many CREPS athletes were able to attend a training session: a rare opportunity to be at the heart of professional training.

Among the players were former Pôle Espoir Rugby alumni Emilien Trezières, Elliot Carrière, Maxime Lamothe, Théo Roumegoux and Jules Gimbert.

For Julien Laïrle, forwards and defense coach, it’s an opportunity to “meet other athletes (and) other sports”. For the group, this “brings freshness (…) away from the usual playing field”.

A moment to relive….
