The 52-room, 96-bed building, with 3 study and relaxation rooms, will welcome in-house athletes, external training courses and various French and foreign delegations throughout the year. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n In addition to the Pierre Paul Bernard stadium in Talence, the renovation of the athletics track and its infrastructure, including the long jump area, the creation of a javelin area and discus and shot-put workshops, is a major asset for the CREPS to host a new mixed P\u00f4le France for combined events and middle-distance running. The renovated track will be used by all current P\u00f4les, by trainees in sports-related professions, and by students from schools under contract. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The construction of a Laser Run shelter in the heart of the athletics track, with 10 targets, provides real added value for the P\u00f4le France Rel\u00e8ve de pentathlon moderne, enabling athletes to combine laser shooting sessions with running. For the second year running, CREPS Bordeaux is organizing a Paralympic Day. Placed under the sign of mixity, this day is aimed at all publics curious to discover, learn about parasports and eager to meet parasporters in the run-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
“With this day, we want people with disabilities to practice among themselves and with able-bodied people. We hope to contribute to the Paralympic dynamic and promote the para-sport movement”, explains Jean-Fran\u00e7ois DI MARTINO, High Performance Advisor for Paralympic Accompaniment, at the Maison R\u00e9gionale de la Performance, based at the CREPS.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
