A look back at CREPS Paralympic Day<\/h1>\n

\ud83d\udcc5 Saturday September 30<\/span>n a CREPS decked out in the colors of the French teams and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Paralympic Day was held for the second year running.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Placed under the sign of co-education, this day was aimed at all publics curious to discover, learn about parasports and eager to meet parasporters in the run-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. \ud83c\udfc0\ud83e\udd3a\ud83e\uddd7 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Participants were able to discover and practice a range of sports, including wheelchair fencing, para-table tennis, adapted table tennis, cecifoot, para-tir, wheelchair basketball, para-judo, para-rowing, para-badminton, seated volleyball, climbing, adapted basketball, athletics, para-cycling and more. \u26bd<\/span>\ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\ud83c\udfd0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea3\u200d\u2640\ufe0f The day’s program included exceptional meetings with Sami El Guedarri<\/a>, who spoke on disabilities and sports classifications, as well as Perle Bouge<\/a>, Olympic medallist in para-aviron, Manon Genest<\/a>, world champion in paratriathlon, and Karima Medjeded, Olympic champion in para-judo.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfc0 <\/span><\/span>The day ended with a wheelchair basketball match between teams from the P\u00f4le France de Basket Fauteuil at CREPS Bordeaux and the Blanquefort team (National 1) \ud83d\udc68\u200d\ud83e\uddbc The P\u00f4le players lost 80-53 in front of a hundred or so spectators who came to cheer them on.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
